The trick is raising one's individual awareness of this because... my experience has taught me that the vast majority of people aren't even considering this stuff, much less acting on it. This fact gives those that are a distinct advantage both personally and professionally. So no, a person's outward contradiction of inner feelings isn't always bad as much as it's sometimes necessary. So I think you're right, at times we DO need to consciously reign things in and remain outwardly politically correct thus avoiding excessive personal pain and suffering. I believe we are aware AND unaware simultaneously of much of our outward behavior. And I would also have to say that 'For Those About to Rock' is almost just as bad. Ech. Those are my top two worst songs ever (of the genre).
